Why Gamification? Competition and game playing is deeply ingrained in the human psyche. We spend about three billion hours per week globally on gaming. Given this wide acceptance of gaming and the simultaneous emergence of Internet, people have accepted game mechanics in every aspect of their lives. As a result gamification has become a powerful tool through which organizations teach, persuade, engage and motivate people. By the end of 2014, more than 70 % of Global 2000 companies will have at least one application that uses this tactic. |
Who is the audience? Gamification is such a relevant topic that it concerns all companies which seek to increase business success by using he right game mechanics. This event will bring together 100+ people within the high-tech industry, several start-up companies and executives from the Scandinavian Gaming industry. Hence the purpose of this event is to create synergies between Scandinavia and Southern California. |
